California Deaf-Blind Services released OLITI – Online Introduction to Interveners.

Online Introduction to Interveners (released on 5/17/10) is a stand-alone, FLASH-based learning module that gives basic information about interveners. The module takes about 45 minutes to complete. Paraeducators, family members, teachers, administrators and others can learn about:

• The nature of deaf-blindness
• The roles and responsibilities of interveners
• The role of teachers, family members, and administrators when working with interveners
• The development of intervention as a profession
