On Saturday at 1:45pm, Dr. Amy Parker and her colleagues will entertain us all with a presentation on their trip to Uganda.
Presentation Title: Journey to Uganda: Empowering Deafblind Young Adults in Leadership Roles
As a continuing part of collective efforts to empower young adults who are deafblind, a team attended the Helen Keller World Conference in Kampala, Uganda. This trip was related to a participatory action research study with a group of young adults with deafblindness in the United States.
